Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
We collect the information you give us directly, your account email, the brand/website and competitor info you enter for scans, and the questions you ask our AI strategist. We also collect basic usage telemetry (e.g. timestamps, scan counts, error logs) so we can keep the service running.
2. How we use it
We use your data to (a) run the scans you request, (b) save your reports and progress so you can come back to them, (c) send you transactional emails about your account and scan results, and (d) improve and secure the Service. We do not sell your data.
3. Subprocessors
To deliver the Service we share necessary data with vetted subprocessors, including: our cloud and database host (Supabase / Lovable Cloud), our payment processor (Paddle), our email provider (Resend), and the AI providers we query on your behalf (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity). Each is bound by its own data processing terms.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a minimal set of cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand aggregated usage; we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and scan data for as long as your account is active, plus a short period afterward for legitimate operational and legal reasons. You can request deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email hello@beaconn.ai from the email address on your account.
7. Email and unsubscribe
Beaconn sends transactional emails (e.g. your scan reports). Every report email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that opts you out of future report emails. You can also opt out from your account settings.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post material changes to this Policy here and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be communicated by email.
